With demands of family, relationships and work, our lives are busy and sometimes we must remind ourselves of the things we are still passionate about.
When previous generations hit middle age they seemed to know what they wanted and what was expected of them. Or at least that is what I thought it would be like, we are supposed to be slowing down. If that is the case, why do so many people change the direction of their lives at this point. Midlife doesn’t look or feel like I was expecting.
Recently I noticed that women of a certain age seem to be missing from the internet I wondered why. Why are there so few websites dedicated to my generation? Where is our voice?
If this is midlife why does it look and feel so differently than I thought it would?
Carrie on life is building a positive online community for women (although men are always welcome!) to talk about what matters most in their lives. It is designed to be personal – personal to me and personal to you, because, it will only work when you join the conversation.
I am married with two children and live in Dublin. For me Carrie on life is about getting comfortable in my own skin, neither looking to the past or to the future – living in the now – and having a blast.
I’m looking forward to hearing from you.
